Tattoo Artist, Damask Tattoo
Growing up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Laura spent a lot of time on the water and in the woods. As a kid she wanted to be an artist, paleontologist or bush pilot. With her passion for art and the realization that paleontologists starve and that aviation requires mathematics, it became clear where her future lay.
She believes that every tattoo is special and loves the stories they tell, whether its for everyone, or just for you. Laura feels tattoos are a way we can take claim of our bodies and that they often represent an outward expression of how we feel and serve as a visual reminder to ourselves. Tattooing has been around for ages, its a way we can connect with our past and our fellow man. Its great to see this art form thriving and evolving to this day.
Laura’s style tends to lean towards Neo-traditional and the illustrative; bold designs with attention to detail. She also loves using dotwork and gradient colors in tattoo designs. Ladies, animals, pop culture, mystical, historical things and the occult are among her favorite subject matter. Being a bit of a geek, she especially enjoys tattoos with a nerdy twist. Laura can’t wait to help you realize your vision for an awesome tattoo!
When she’s not tattooing, Laura enjoys traveling, SCUBA diving, going to concerts, reading, and watching all kinds of movies.

Hi there! If you’re wondering how to get the tattoo process started with me, I like to start with a consultation where you can show me any images or inspiration materials you have, and we can also discuss size, placement, image and style. (You can call the shop as well and speak to one of our receptionists. They can help you book a consultation with me.) This usually takes about 15 minutes though it can be more or less depending on the complexity of the design. I usually sketch out (very loosely) my idea for your tattoo with your input. After we decide we’re the right fit for each other, we’ll book an appointment and take down a deposit. I’ll start drawing for you probably about a week before the big day. I’ll take everything you imparted to me and I’ll show you a drawing the day of your tattoo that I think will knock your socks off! If you want small changes, we can make them then. If you think I’ve got a screw loose and completely missed your vision, we can use the appointment time to go over changes you’d like and book a new appointment. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
